Women:
If you want to see a woman lit up, and on fire, ask her one simple question… Why should a woman have a voice?
Women are passionate. We care about the people around us. We want to make a difference in the world. We are making the world a better place. We desire balance. We care about the present. We care about the future and we care about the outcome. We care about the well being of children and the children of those children. We invest in ourselves and others. We have deep seeded souls worth revealing. We wish and hope and strive and do. We don’t try. We take action and we work hard. We are strong. We are influential and spiritual seekers. We are high heels and sneakers. We are smart and educated. We want guidance and so we teach. We are clear and then vulnerable. We take the punches for the betterment of others. We discover even more inner strength when all pretence seems gone. We are honest and hopeful. We are hopeless in one day, like a penny with a hole in it, and then shining super women the next. We are not afraid to love and lose love. We love the unloved. We find love where it always was. We are tough and eager. We fall down and pull ourselves out of the quicksand alone. We brush off the dirt. We are green with envy and we turn our envy into missions. We are righteous. We are not to be ignored or dismissed. We are invincible. We are women. We matter and we have a voice.
Women deserve to be recognized. Women are worthy and will not stop until we are heard. We are thoughtful and creative. We help beyond helping. We deserve wealth and health. We put others before ourselves. We transport and give birth, then cultivate new life with energy. We are sleepless. We are humble and we cry. We lighten the load and then carry the weight. We are movers and shakers. We are kind and sincere. We understand compromise and fight for justice. We are fierce and full of pride. We won’t be stepped on or pushed aside. We can take pain or endure stress and then stand high on a mountain of inner mess. We are clever and revered. Our emotional cup is always full so we can give some of it away. We give and nurture and love and respect, while receiving an attitude of contempt. But we continue to walk the walk and talk the talk. We forgive to give. We forget to get. We carry heavy burdens and turn them into meaningful zest. We drink in potential and encourage ourselves and others. We eat negativity and spit out the positive. We are understanding and assertive. We have always had power. We hold the power.
We are women on fire with power.
